A few words about myself
Tiffany Muharrem, Bsc (Hons) Reg. MBACP
I am a qualified counsellor/psychotherapist specialising in working with depression, anxiety, relationship problems and anger management. I offer a safe and confidential space for clients to talk about challenging feelings and experiences without the fear of judgement; helping you to deal with and overcome issues that are causing emotional pain or making you feel uncomfortable.
My integrative training means I combine different approaches to my counselling work including; psychoanalysis, person-centred and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). I understand that we all have our own unique set of experiences and I tailor my approach to suit those specific needs. Together we will develop a realistic plan to help you move forward and grow to achieve the results you are looking for.
My experience includes working for the NHS at a GP surgery counselling adults with depression and anxiety, anger issues, social anxiety, low self-esteem, work stress, panic attacks and drug/alcohol addictions.
I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and I abide by strict codes of ethics. This means that all information shared by the client during the counselling process is strictly confidential, within the limits of the law.
My qualifications include:
