A few words about myself

Hi, I'm Bukky. I am a highly-trained psychotherapist with a Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regent’s University.

I offer individual psychotherapy and couples counselling to people from diverse backgrounds and their families, creating transformative spaces where they feel seen and safe, and can become their greatest versions.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, combining techniques from Existential Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Transactional Analysis to tailor our sessions to your unique needs. The approach is rooted in compassion first and foremost. I will gently support you to live a more enriching life filled with daily practices of embodiment, noticing, compassion, art, rest, play, radical acceptance, letting go, laughter, honesty, and more. I walk alongside you, as you develop the lost art of imperfection and unknowing what society may have taught you is 'normal' for you or expected from you. I support nurturing your more curious, soft, and vulnerable parts.

I am not a passive therapist. I specialise in self-actualised change, embodied decision-making, and demystifying intuition. By reminding you that your life will not continue forever and offering gentle accountability, I can help you connect with the deeper intelligence that permeates inside of you, so you can get clear on who you want to be and how you’d like to feel and begin navigating life with intention.

Quick facts about me:
